Surah 095

At-Tīn

التين

8 verses · Meccan

Key structural observations
  • The surah is structured as a moral axis of stature: the human is created in the best form, then measured by whether that dignity is honoured or betrayed under the law of dīn.
  • Its central reversal is that decline is not a denial of original dignity but the consequence of failing to live up to its entrusted measure.
  • The surah therefore binds anthropology to accountability: to deny the dīn is, structurally, to deny the very measure by which human worth remains upright.
