Key structural observations
- A question recalls three blessings granted to the Prophet ﷺ: breast opened, burden removed and mention raised. Allah is the subject of all three acts (1–4).
- Removing and raising answer one another with distinct objects. Laka, ʿanka and then laka specify the addressee’s relationship to the blessings (1–4).
- The assurance of ease with hardship is repeated. Maʿa, definite al-ʿusr and indefinite yusran return within the same construction (5–6).
- Completion is followed by a command to apply oneself; longing then receives its destination: towards the Lord. Two imperatives join effort and direction (7–8).
- The burden removed, hardship accompanied by ease and effort required are three distinct realities. Remembered grace sustains the response directed towards Allah (1–8).
