Key structural observations

The surah is structured as a symmetry of crushing: the tongue that belittles produces an interior world already shaped like its end, and the crusher is answered by al-Ḥuṭama.
Its movement links visible mockery to hidden desiccation: contempt is not a surface defect, but the speech-form of a heart becoming brittle and windowless.
The surah therefore treats verbal diminishment as architectural: the one who keeps reducing others is already building the enclosure that will reduce him.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ

الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ

نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ

الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ

فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
